Types of Remaps – Performance & Economy Remap.

Our performance remaps are tailored for the die hard enthusiast who demands the most from his car, power gains of up to 35% are achieved by safely adjusting the parameters of your ecu with one our custom tuned files, the result is a car that accelerates better has improved throttle response more power more torque and flat spots ironed out leading to a more enjoyable drive.

Maximum power gains achieved are – Turbo diesel up to 35% – Normally aspirated diesel up to 20%

– Turbo Petrol up to 30% – Normally aspirated petrol up to 15%.

Many customers now choose the economy remap as the preferred choice for their car. With sky high fuel prices, similar to car telematics, an economy remap not only gives you some of the benefits of our performance remap but you can also achieve up to a 20% decrease in your cars fuel consumption that’s a massive saving on running costs and will repay the cost of the remap within a short period of time.

What is ECU REMAPPING?

ECU remapping is taking a read from the ECU’s processing chip of the vehicles standard compromised map and adjusting various parameters within the map such as fuel pressure, boost pressure (on turbocharged applications) ignition advance and throttle pedal control amongst others to release the true performance from the engine. It is a completely safe process as it is just giving the engine the performance it should have had in the first place before all the compromises were applied to the original programming. Every engine will have its own unique map and by adjusting this we can fine tune the characteristics of the engine; unleashing more power and in many cases reduce fuel consumption too.

Mobile Tuning do not cover the liability for any mechanical or electrical parts including the following parts: turbos,  injectors, clutches, gearboxes, dpf, boost leaks (boost pipes) as these have a serviceable lifetime and the remap places bigger demands on these parts, which may cause issues if they are not in good health. Stage 1+, Stage 2, Stage 3 remaps are beyond the recommended tolerances of your engine and we and the remap writer will not accept any liability for these remaps.

We work alongside external ‘remap writers’ and the liability for any mistake in the remap software lies with them and not Mobile Tuning.

The Client Must:

Accept all power/torque gains from your ECU remap are approximate, as are the actual figures of your engine’s quoted power and torque figures from your car manufacturer.

Accept the fuel efficiency of your vehicle after a remap depends on a number of factors including but not limited to: outside temperature, driving style, tyre pressures, and regular and correct service maintenance of your vehicle.

Mobile Tuning are not liable for costs associated to fix either determined or pending faults found relating to your vehicle during its diagnostic check either before or after you have your vehicle remapped.

Accept that no refunds are offered under any circumstances after the installation of the modified software to your vehicle.
